you heard wrong. the movie is/was awesome.
i TOTALLY agree with you bruns. i absolutely adore the movie. in fact, i own two copies. yeah, its a sofia coppola movie so the plot isn't exactly riveting but it's beautifully shot, the costumes are out of control, and the soundtrack is amazing AND it makes me feel better when i watch it hungover the day after a bender because i can tell myself that at least my partying activities didnt bankrupt a country (and i can fall asleep in the middle and not miss anything or have to think too hard).
